LUNCH FOR CAFOD

On the first Thursday of each month, following Mass at 11.30 am, we hold a fund raising lunch in aid of CAFOD (Catholic Association for Overseas Development) in our parish hall. Members of our parish cook a tasty home made lunch, followed by dessert and coffee, and serve it to tables of six. There is not a fixed charge for the lunch as we do not want to exclude anyone for financial reasons. We ask instead for a donation. All are most welcome and in order to cater effectively we ask for numbers the week before.

Our lunches support CAFOD while at the same time providing a social event for our community. There are currently two weekend Masses at Holy Ghost, so this lunch provides an ideal opportunity for parishioners to mix and get to know each other better.
