Our chief focus today was ‘The Other Boleyn Girl’ by Philippa Gregory, which had appealed to all of us. A much lighter read than 'Wolf Hall', it showed us the court of Henry VIII from an altogether different perspective.

Alice and Elisabeth joined him at the Mass of Beatification in Cofton Park, and Adam and Patrick went up to London to Westminster Cathedral and to the Vigil in Hyde Park. Then they went to Rome ...
