Don't forget that you are invited to join in Christian Aid's Great Big Christmas Sing on 4 December by attending the two rehearsals to be held in Tower St Methodist Church on 22 and 29 November at 7.00 pm.

All are invited to come and choose the music and hymns for the 6.00 pm Vigil Mass. This meeting will take place on Tuesday 23 November at 7.00 pm.

On Sunday 28 November at 3.00 pm you are all warmly invited to Pennant House, on the Quay, to join Fr Philip who will bless our crib. The crib is kindly set up every year on Betty Tansley's patio.

If you would like to help in the planning and arranging of the church flowers for Christmas please join us for coffee on Monday 29 November at 11.00 am in the dining room. There will be a second collection for Christmas flowers on the weekend of 4/5 December.

Our chief focus today was ‘The Other Boleyn Girl’ by Philippa Gregory, which had appealed to all of us. A much lighter read than 'Wolf Hall', it showed us the court of Henry VIII from an altogether different perspective.

During Pope Benedict's recent visit to the UK, several of our young parishioners joined him for the liturgies.  Alice and Elisabeth joined him at the Mass of Beatification in Cofton Park, and Adam and Patrick went up to London to Westminster Cathedral and to the Vigil in Hyde Park. Then they went to Rome ...

All Souls' Day: On Tuesday 2 November Mass will be celebrated at 10.00 am. The Bereavement Care Team warmly invite you to join them for coffee afterwards in the Hall.
