Last November the Cathedral hosted more than 450 people celebrating over 6000 years of marriage. For some it was a celebration of a significant anniversary and for others it was to give thanks for a particular event in their lives, for example a new baby or recovery from illness.

This July there will be an opportunity to celebrate marriage again at Buckfast Abbey.We have a particular emphasis on marriage and family this year and it is hoped the bishop will invite whole families to come for a blessing. The Mass will commence at 3pm on Sunday 10th July 2011 and there will be refreshments and a family treasure hunt following. If you would like to attend please contact the parish office.
